About Us

Meet the Founders

Alex, Julius and Bert are three NYC locals and childhood friends united by community and culture. Five years ago they entered the craft beer scene as patrons who enjoyed the vibe. What they didn’t know is that their love for art, music and craft beer would merge into something more.

The Adapt Beer Project is NYC’s first Black owned beer collective. It’s a familiar space to build community and inspire each other to
#gofurther.

Adapt Beer Project's core values include the idea of going further. This mantra is reflected in everything the collective does, from experimenting with new ingredients and techniques to pushing for greater representation and inclusivity in the craft beer industry. We take pride in the fact that our craft beer is made locally and supported locally.

Through their dedication to excellence and innovation, Alex, Julius, and Bert are inspiring the next generation of brewers and beer enthusiasts to push the boundaries and explore new horizons—all while staying true to our roots in the local community.

Core Principles

Inclusivity

In addition to their focus on innovation and inclusivity, the Adapt Beer Project places a strong emphasis on the social aspect of enjoying beer. For the team, there's nothing quite like sharing a cold brew with friends and loved ones. They believe that beer has the power to bring people together, to facilitate conversations and build relationships.

That's why they strive to create brews that are not only delicious and unique but also accessible and enjoyable for a wide range of palates. Whether you're a seasoned beer aficionado or a newcomer to the craft beer scene, the Adapt Beer Project's creations are sure to delight and inspire. So gather some friends, crack open a cold one, and discover the joy of sharing great beer with great company.
